 Love is the basis of any relationship whether in marriage, career, business partnerships or other forms of life endeavours. Love has a language skill which can be acquired by all so we can derive the accrued benefits. The usage of this word today can be confusing to many people because of the thin line between selfishness and selflessness. When we fully grasp the essence of love, we will put things in proper perspective as we seek to enrich our intra and inter personal relationships.

Love is longsuffering, having patience and tolerant with other's shortcoming, mistakes and imperfections. Love is kind it is active doing well. Love does not envy, it is non-possessive and non-competitive it doesn't mind others getting ahead. Love is not puffed up or inflated with pride and so does not treat others arrogantly. Love does not behave rudely but displays good manners and courtesy. Love is not self seeking insisting on its own rights and demanding precedence rather it is unselfish always considering others. Love is not easily provoked it is not irritable, touchy, rough or hostile but graceful under pressure. Love does not take account of wrongs done to it, instead it erases resentment and love is a forgiver. Love does not find satisfaction in the shortcomings or disadvantages of others and so spreading an evil report but love aggressively advertises the good in others. Love defends and holds others up it. Believes the best about others and so credits them with good intentions it is not suspicious. Love never gives up on others but is always affirming their future. Love perseveres and remains loyal to the end. Love never fails.

Love is the determinant factor in success equation in life. Behind every organization is a face tagged love or compassion. Love is expressed daily in the intrinsic values we give to others irrespective of their net-works or net-worth or no-worth at all. We can use this simple but profound definition of love to guide our words, thoughts and actions this week. We can put on the garment of love, make our world - your area of influence where you exercise control, a better space. It begins with each one's decision to enrich others in love. Love is living life. It makes it worth living. Make a resolve to live life to the full on the wings of God's divine love.
